Teaching Happily Ever After  is having a "Favorite Read Alouds" Linky Party!  I couldn't wait to share mine!

My all time favorite is "The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane" by Kate DeCamillo.

This is a story of a child's toy who thinks of no one but himself.  Unexpectedly, he becomes lost.  His journey, as he becomes the toy of many different owners, teaches him what it means to love and be loved.  It characters are rich and the settings easily capture a child's imagination.  The children love it, every year!

Does your blog need a makeover?  Well, if you've been shopping for some cute designs, you must check out.....

A Bird in Hand Blog Design

A Bird in Hand  designs especially for teacher blogs. Not only are the designs adorable, but they are more affordable than I have seen anywhere.  Check them out before you spend the big bucks!

Here is my "Monday Made It"!  In my Math Class, we often use dry erase markers.  The kids love them but, I wasn't able to find a good solution for erasing.  Tissues are wasteful. Old socks got lost.   Then, I found this idea on Pinterest.

It's very easy to make.  Just hot glue a pom pom on the opposite end of the dry erase marker tip, much like the eraser on a pencil.  I'm going to store them in a flower pot to make a cute display.

Thank you, Ovata Bell, for sharing this idea!

Lastly, I have to show you the cute posters I had made for my "owl" themed classroom.

You can find them at Teaching Fourth's TPT store.  I made them at Office Max during their Teacher Appreciation Sale using the instructions from I Teach. What's Your Super Power?  Easy Peasy, Lemon Squeezy!

Bonus------> Total purchase price:  $7.22 !
