Then join the Texas Teacher Blog List!
Good or bad, curriculum in Texas is a bit different than most of the United States. Texas does not participate in the Common Core Initiative. Texas Math Standards are about to change and our new state accountability test (STAAR) will "count" for the first time this year.
With that in mind, I'd like to invite my Texas teaching friends to be a part of this Texas Teachers Blog List. This is my effort to have you all in one place for us to visit. I will try to collect as many as I can find. But if I miss you and you want to be included, please add a comment below.
You can find my Texas Teacher Blogs page just below the header above (or here). Thanks!
What a great idea! It might also be interesting to see who all teaches at a cscope school. Please count me in. I teach 3rd grade in Texas!!

Oh, Lordy, y'all! I'm such a novice at this blogger-logistics stuff.
ReplyDeletePLEASE forgive me! I believe the links are working correctly now. I made a "page" to permanently store the blog list of Texas teachers so it will be easy to find in the future. I've got to figure out how to make that font bigger. I've got you all listed by grade, so take a look! I'm so happy you are all as excited as I am about it!
Diane
p.s. If you still can't find the links, let me know!!!!
